Questions we get asked
- How often should I service my air conditioner?
- Once a year is right for most homes. Systems in dusty areas or running daily benefit from a six-monthly filter clean between services.
- Some rooms on my ducted system never get cool. Can you find out why?
- Yes. A ducted inspection measures airflow at every outlet and checks the ducts, dampers and return in the roof space, then gives you a written report with the fixes in order of value. Often it is a crushed duct or an unbalanced zone rather than the unit.
- My outdoor unit is filthy. Is it worth cleaning or should I replace it?
- Usually worth cleaning. A blocked coil can cut capacity by a third, so a proper clean often brings an older unit back to life. If the compressor or refrigerant circuit has failed we will tell you honestly and quote a replacement, with any rebates included.
