A multi-split connects two to five indoor units to a single outdoor unit. You choose the right indoor unit for each room, from a whisper-quiet bedroom head to a high-capacity living-room unit, and control them independently.

Questions we get asked
- How many rooms can one outdoor unit serve?
- Typically two to five, depending on the brand and the capacity of each indoor unit. We size the outdoor unit so it keeps up when every room is running.
- Is a multi-split cheaper than ducted?
- Usually yes for two or three rooms, and it avoids roof-space work. For a whole house, ducted is often better value. We quote both when it is a close call.
